The Infinity Reference 5022i is a 5 1/4-inch Two-Way loudspeaker with very advanced features for a speaker in this price range. These speakers will drop in to the factory location of a 5 1/4-inch speaker and can be driven by either a factory OEM radio or an aftermarket radio. It utilizes Plus One technology which gives you improved bass response. The Edge-driven textile-dome tweeter provides outstanding high frequencies and excellent reliability. This speaker can be driven with a 2 ohm impedance amplifier which gives you improved low frequency performance and louder sound. They can also be driven by a 4 ohm radio or amplifier. Love these speakers. They sound great running straight off the kenwood deck I'm running. One install note if you've got a TJ jeep. you will have to surface mount them in the sound pods. the factory grills touch the surrounds and the infinity grills won't fit in the recessed areas on the pods. I used a slightly longer screw and sliconed the bases to the sound pods. no problems so far. -- Sounds great

Good speakers, very detailed. Produce surprising level of bass for a small speaker, very free to move a good distance, so bass sounds good if not very low (impossible for a small speaker of any brand). I'm very pleased and would recommend. -- Infinity Reference 5022i

The speakers have to be the best for the price that I have ever heard. They are unbelievably loud while at the same time consistently producing crystal clear lows, mids, and highs even at full volume on a stock head unit (no amp) in a 2000 Jeep Wrangler sound bar. Also, Infinity speakers are only warranted against defects from a very few online retailers...Amazon.com being one of them...check the Infinity website for the others. So, if anything were to go wrong with these beauties I can enjoy a stress free return or replacement. Definitely would recommend these speakers for anybody looking to replace stock speakers with something with double the kick (seriously you won't hear a thing the person next to you in the car is saying with these speakers on full volume even if you don't have an amplifier). -- Infinity Reference 5022i

Bought these to replace my stock speakers in an 04 Honda CRV and was blown away by the difference in sound quality. These fit exactly in all 4 doors and was smaller than the stock units but highs and lows are much more pronounced and clarity is simply wonderful. Matched it with a Jensen HD radio/CD player and the directional tweeters were a nice added touch since you can focus it inward to the cabin. Awesome speakers! -- awesome little speakers

My only complaint is that I wish they had a solid flange around the speaker for screwing through rather that the forked flanges. I will buy Infinity speakers in the future for the clarity, the high and mid range are excellent, and when housed and sealed correctly pack a nice punch. -- Good Speakers
